French Gone Blue

 

Löysin toisella asunnolla pakkaillessani ranskalaisen manikyyrin kysnitarrat, enkä voinut vastustaa kiusausta kokeilla niitä - heti!

Ensimmäinen yritys manikyyritarroilla. Tykkään! Hiomista vielä on ja muutaman kerran jouduin pariin kynteen lakkauksen uusimaan, mutta nätti hieman pituuksien eroavaisuuksia tasoittava manikyyri tuli. Ensimmäistä kertaa tarroja kokeileville voisin sanoa, että antakaa manikyyrin lakan kuivua kunnolla ennen tarran irroittamista ja vice versa, antakaa aluslakan kuivua kunnolla, ennen teipin asettamista sille, jolloin teippi ei pois revittäessä ota lakkoja mukaansa.

Taas tällainen 03 yöllä postaus. Keittiössä odottaa aamupalalle ensimmäisenä suuntaavaa suuri kynsisotku...Koitin tänään myös Cienin (Lidl) kynsilakanpoistoainetta, ihan sen painallus pullon vuoksi, mutta jotenkin ei iskenyt. Ehkä löydän Hollannista uuden suosikin, nykyinen on Pirkan poistoaine. Asetoonitonta toki suosisi, mutta tuntuu, ettei lakat lähde kuin jynssäämällä nuppi punaisena ja kynsinauhat paukkuen.

I found some french manicure guide stickers and I couldn't resist trying them out!

So! First try to do a manicure with manicure guide tapes. Had to re-do few nails, but I really like the result! It's gonna take a few tries to get it picture perfect, but it's definitely a nice polishing and it also evens the lenght differences between the nails nicely. Few tips I could give to people who try these guide tapes for the first time, let the polish under the manicure really dry properly, or the tape will rip it off and let the polish you do the manicure with dry properly before you pull the tape out so the line becomes more even.

This is once again one of these 03am posts. The one who hits the kitchen first for a breakfast shall find a huge nail mess...I tried the Cien nail polish remover, the one from Lidl, because I find the bottle system rather interesting but I have to say that I'm a bit dissapointed. Felt like the polish won't come off at all. Meh! I have to find a new favorite from Netherlands then. My current favorite is Pirkka remover, even it has asetone in it, but it removes everything without five minutes work.
